Born in Selma, Al on April 29, 1943, William A Kynard, Sr. graduated from A.G. Parrish HS in Selma 1961 and started attending Livingston University the following year.

In 1971 he was elected to the position of Dallas County Circuit Clerk as Alabama’s youngest circuit clerk in history.  After 30 years of service, he retired in 2001.   During those many years, he was known to be a kind and helpful friend to all.   He was able to support his personal values by serving through multiple organizations both private and public.

Retirement to the Alabama gulf coast was his dream and he prepared very well.  A tiny house, pickup truck and boat was all he needed.  Each afternoon you could see him at the Gulf Shores beach taking in the sunset.  Farewell Bill.
