Ann Ernestine Foster

February 1, 1930 — June 1, 2025

Ann Ernestine Warbington Foster passed away June 1, 2025 at the age of 95. She was born February 1, 1930 to the late Ernest Martin Warbington and Annie Laura McGraw Warbington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl William Foster; son, Carl Eugene Foster; grandsons, Ronnie Warren and Thad Moseley; brother, Tommy Warbington; brother-in-law, Raymond Coorpender, Jr.; son-in-law, Franklin Crocker.

For over 20 years, Ann graced the welcoming environment of Hardees in Marion, where her smile served as a beacon of joy for patrons who entered the establishment. Her role as a hostess wasn't merely a job; it was an expression of her vibrant personality and unwavering commitment to making others feel valued. Ann possessed a rare gift—the ability to lift spirits with her presence, embodying the warmth and comfort that many sought in their daily lives.

Ann was truly one of a kind. She dedicated much of her life to serving those around her, from her active participation in church work to guiding the little ones as a brownie scout leader. Her devotion to her community was unmistakable, and her impact will forever be a cherished memory in the hearts of many.

A lifelong member of Siloam Baptist Church in Marion, Ann poured her heart into the community that nurtured her throughout her life. From teaching Sunday school to singing in the choir, she embraced her faith with enthusiasm and grace until her later years when her health began to decline. Even as she faced her own challenges, Ann continued to uplift others, spending nourishing moments visiting nursing home residents, offering her time and love to those in need.

Her loss leaves a profound void, yet the legacy of compassion and kindness she has instilled within her family and friends remains unshakably strong. Ann’s story is one that will echo through the laughter and love of the people she has touched. As we celebrate her remarkable life, let us carry forward the lessons of love, service, and wholehearted generosity that she so effortlessly embodied.

She is survived by her daughters, Connie (David) Andrews, Brenda Crocker, Judy (Ken) Moseley, Donna (Rickey) Moseley and Valerie (Darrin) Hinton; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Bobby Jean Coopender and James (Sharon) Warbington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
