Audrey Elizabeth Howard Tucker

Audrey Tucker passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025 at the age of 90. She was born December 14, 1934 in Dade City Florida to the late Kerry Ellis Howard and Juanita Jane Blackwelder Howard.

For many years, Audrey lent her talents in the world of work, contributing her efforts at Hancock Fabric and later at Sherwin Williams. Throughout her career, she endeared herself to colleagues and customers alike, becoming known for her remarkable ability to remember names—an endearing quality reflective of her heartfelt connections with others.

Family was the cornerstone of Audrey’s life; she gave everything for her children and grandchildren, pouring her love into every moment spent with them. As MeMaw, she embraced her role with dedication, creating a warm and welcoming haven where laughter and stories flourished. A true family woman, Audrey had an exceptional knack for remembering birthdays, and she celebrated each one with thoughtfully crafted cards that brought smiles to the faces of her loved ones. Her love for family pictures served as a testament to her joy in preserving moments shared together, encapsulating the essence of her relationships in beautiful snapshots of life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Tucker; sons, Jimmy Tucker and Keith Tucker.

She is survived by her son, Randy (Taran) Tucker; grandchildren, Brandon Tucker, Heather (Lee) Bender, Russell Tucker and Sydney Culverhouse; great-grandchildren, Copeland Bender and Evie Fussell.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Samuel Duff officiating. She will be laid to rest at Floral Memory Gardens in Albany, Georgia. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., prior to the service.
