Bernice "Polly" English

Bernice "Polly" English passed away April 15, 2024 at the age of 89. She was born August 30, 1934 to the late Noah Thomas Morgan and Mary Louise Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Burge and her brothers, Russell Morgan, Gerald Morgan, Raymond Morgan and Virgil Morgan and son-in-law, David Rinehart.
She is survived by her husband of seventy years, Larry D. English; children, Larry M. English and Maria English Rinehart; daughter-in-law, Gail Rinehart Stevenson; grandchildren, Aaron (Kaila) English and Sarah (Tommy) Graham; great-granddaughter, Abby English; sisters, Peggy Patrick and Cheryl Franz as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
She was a faithful, longtime member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunny South Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Bill Gardner officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home of Selma directing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Fairview Baptist Church; 1800 West Dallas Avenue, Selma, Alabama 36701.
