Cecilia Georgia Quinn Whetstone

Cecilia Georgia Quinn Whetstone, beloved daughter of David Whetstone III and Chellsea Whetstone, was born on September 22, 2025, and gently entered the arms of Jesus on September 24, 2025, at just three days old.

Though her time on earth was brief, Cecilia’s presence touched the hearts of all who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandmothers, Cecilia Jones and Bonnie Tate; grandfather, Henry Whetstone; uncle, Michael Whetstone; great-grandfather, Joe Jones; and great-grandparents, Paul and Bonnie Jones.

Cecilia is survived by her loving sisters, Scarlett Whetstone and Bonnie Whetstone; grandparents, Audra (Keith) Neely, Theresa Whetstone (Chris Jones), and Karen (Randy) Hamm; along with many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family who will forever hold her memory close.

A Service of Love and Remembrance will be held in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home in Selma on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. The family will receive friends and family for visitation at 3:00 p.m., prior to the service.
