Clyde Cecil Dunaway

Clyde 'Cecil' Dunaway passed away January 21, 2024 at the age of 88. He was born December 28, 1935 to the late Lucy K. and Clyde Dunaway.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Betsy Dunaway; daughter, Lynn Dunaway and brother, Frank Dunaway.

Cecil served in the US Navy from 1954-1958 and was stationed at Fort Mandan. He retired from the US Post Office after an extensive career.

He is survived by his daughter, Alice (David) Moore; son, Chuck Dunaway; grandchildren, Christopher (Tabetha) Moore, Amanda (Shane) Vinson and Chad (Casey) Dunaway; step granddaughter, Melissa Chapman; great-grandchildren, Kutler Moore, Owen Vinson, Bess Vinson, Tanner Moore, Laurel Dunaway, Nora Vinson and Tolan Chapman; sister, Miriam (Sonny) Pfeiffer and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. A private burial will follow at Pineview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m., prior to the service.
