July 9, 1953 — February 19, 2019
Debra Deranda Higginbotham Smith, age 65, of Linden, Alabama passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2019 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at 1:00.
She is preceded by her parents, Marion Columbus Higginbotham and Flora Jenette Nichols and step-father, Deramus Nichols.
Debra is survived by her husband of 43 years, James Ray Smith; children, Betty Jean (Todd) Gardner, Rita Luker, Lita (Mark) Wallace, Terry Ballard, Brenda Smith, Denise (Tony) Payton; brothers: Randy Higginbotham, Ben (Aleyda) Higginbotham, Phillip (Brenda) Higginbotham; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Roger Nichols, Joey Foxhall, Johnny Garner, Greg Sanders, Rich Pendergrass, Kenny Jones, and Jason Higginbotham.
