Dorothy Hitt

Dorothy Harris Hitt, age 79, of Selma, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Sister Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Johnathan Jenkins officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in Sister Springs Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Monday at the church.

She is preceded by her husband: Joe Hitt; parents: R.C. and Bertha Harris; brothers: Edward Harris, Ralph Harris, Carroll Harris; and sister: Bernice Moore.

Mrs. Hitt is survived by her daughter: Patricia Gaylor (Dannie); sons: Robert Hitt (Kim), Jason Hitt (Kimberly); grandchildren: Jennifer Hopkins, Justin Gaylor, Adrienne Hitt, Hunter Hitt, and 2 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Dannie Gaylor, Johnny Harris, Tommy Harris, Justin Gaylor, Caleb Hopkins, and Billy Moore.
