Dr. Robert Dewitt
April 28, 1932 — March 8, 2017
Dr. Robert Hanna DeWitt, age 84 of Selma, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017.
A native of Marion Junction, Alabama, Dr. DeWitt was a graduate of Orrville High School, Samford University, Southern Seminary, and the University of Alabama. He held various pastoral, teaching, and counseling positions through the state.
Dr. DeWitt is survived by his three children: Jena Figueroa of Franklin, IN, Mark DeWitt of Chicago, IL, and Timothy DeWitt of Indianapolis, IN. Also, there is one surviving sister, Ruby DeWitt Elkins of Louisburg, N.C..
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Marion Junction Cemetery with Rev. Daniel Martin officiating and Lawrence Brown Service Funeral Home directing.
