Ernest James Myers

Ernest James Myers passed away August 11, 2023 at the age of 79. He was born September 7, 1943 in Morgan City, Louisiana to the late Ernest Myers and Emerite Louise LeBlanc Myers.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Carl Brusard; siblings, Mercedes Verret, Adam Myers, Ray Myers, Perry Myers and Jackie Myers.

He is survived by his children, Paula (Wilburn) Goodman; Ernest (Julie) Myers, Jr., John Myers, Shelly Myers, Ernie Myers, III; God-children, Joseph Boudoin and Artie Myers; grandchildren, April Myers, Jody Darby, Tony Myers, Misty Myers, Montana (Preston) Ross, Alexis Goodman, Ashley Brusard, Philimena Straton, Patrick Lombas and Terri Gilmore; great-grandchildren, Jessie Myers, Angel Myers and Nathan Gilmore; siblings, David (Jackie) Myers, Jr., Lonnie (Pauline) Myers, Sr., Emerite “Put” (Allen) Trainer, Donna Myers, Debbie (Clemile) Boudoin and countless nieces and nephews.

The family will have a service in Morgan City, Louisiana to be announced soon.
