Gladys Hughes

Gladys Edna Hughes passed away April 14, 2021 at the age of 94.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marshall Carvey Henley; mother, Gladys Jackson Henley; brother, Douglas Henley; husband, Charles Eugene Hughes and daughter-in-law, Kathy McCuiston Hughes.

She is survived by her sons, Greg (Carole) Hughes, Jeff (Vickie) Hughes, Brian Hughes, Paul (Cristy) Hughes and Troy (Juliet) Hughes; twelve grandchildren and thirty one great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Mount and Rev. Mike Lewis officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Hughes, Paul Hughes, Troy Hughes, Henley Hughes, Parker Hughes and Jeremy Hughes. Honorary pallbearer will be Brian Hughes.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Park Place for the wonderful care their mother received during her stay.
