Hardie Chappelle

Hardie Chappelle, age 74, passed into Eternal Life on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Regional Medical Center in Anniston Al.
She was born in Alabama on March 20, 1948 to the late Hardy and Rena (Poe) Cofer.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Douglas Chappelle, Sr.; son, Michael Chappelle and sisters, Frances Perry and Emma Lightsey.
She is survived by her husband, Wendell Church; children, Douglas Chappelle, Jr., Derek (Leigh) Chappelle and Joshua (Jennifer) Chappelle; twenty-two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Atchison, Linda Cofer and John Cofer and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Lung Association.
