Honore Muntz, 68, a native of Selma, Alabama and a resident of Houma, Louisiana passed away on July 18, 2017.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. , with the service to start at 11:00 a.m. , at Victory of Houma Church. Visitation will resume on Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home in Selma, AL. Funeral services will be on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens, where he will be laid to rest next to his mother.
He is survived by his companion, Carol Lichenstein; son, Jason Muntz and wife Charlotte; daughter, Mary Evelyn Lacoste; brother, Lester Hotard; sisters, Joyce Arnold and Deborah Pipkins; grandchildren, Cody Lacoste, Billy Lacoste, Eric Lacoste, Erica Crochet, Jamie Cantrelle, Nicholas Chimento, Nathan Muntz, Christian Muntz, and Joshua Baldridge; great grandchildren, Allayah Lacoste, Riley Lacoste, Cody Lacoste Jr., Brennan Crochet, Landon Baldridge; Godchildren, Russell Valence, Katherine Billiot, and Belinda Curole.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Hotard; father, Emile "Pawpaw Black" John Hotard; sisters, Sandra Marie Pitre Garetino and Emma Mary Pitre Holmes.
The family requests any plants present at the funeral be brought home by family and friends in remembrance of Honore.
