Jacqueline Mcneal

Jacqueline Marie Cochran McNeal passed away April 28, 2019, at the age of 73. She was born January 30, 1946 to the late Jefferson Burel Cochran, Jr. and Myrtle Buxton Cochran.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Elizabeth Cochran Taylor.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Thomas Gerald McNeill; children, Jeffery (Joyce) McNeal, Shannon (Harriet) McNeal and Sarah (Stewart) Harrell; grandchildren, Mary McNeal, Sanders Harrell, LeahMarie McNeal, Seth Harrell and Annalyn Harrell; siblings, James “Buddy” (Annie) Cochran, Alton (Sue) Cochran, Jerry (Louise) Cochran and Wanda (Doug) DeLoach and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 3, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Benton Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Tate officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Mrs. McNeal will lie in state at the family home until Friday. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Wolf Ridge Cemetery in Mobile, Alabama.

Pallbearers will be Stewart Harrell, Duke Logan, Bruce Logan, William Lyon, John Lyon and Terry Sharpless.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center at The university of Texas.
