James Gallagher
July 25, 1928 — February 13, 2018
James F. Gallagher passed away February 13, 2018 at the age of 89. He was born July 25, 1928 to the late James Eugene Gallagher and Veronica Loftus Gallagher. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Kennedy Gallagher and sister, Mary Gallagher (Vincent) Mehan.
He is survived by his children, Deborah Thompson, Katherine Gallagher (Dr. William, Jr.) Mann, Rebecca (Hoffman, Jr.) Rhyne, James Robert (Stephanie) Gallagher and Michael Rhett (Shannon) Gallagher; sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and brothers, Joseph E. (Joan) Gallagher and Peter (Ellen) Gallagher.
Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Campus Crusade For Christ, Samaritan’s Purse or Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Selma, Alabama.
