Ret. Master SGT. James F. Potter passed away December 19, 2015 at the age of 91. He was born May 17, 1924 in Tennessee.
One of the joys of his life was training horses.
He was preceded in death by his adored wife: Lorenna F. Potter; father: Lawrence Potter and son, Rickey Lee Potter.
He is survived by his daughter, Lynetta P. (Robert) Hicks; grandchildren, Jeremy F. (Morgan) Hicks and Kristen Leigh Hicks and special friends, Edna H. Hughes and Wayne Little.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Bill Gardner officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Ray Skinner, Steve Lane, Mack Wilkerson, Hoot Gibson, Reggie Bennett, Wayne Little and the Hardy Sunday School Class.
