James "Jim" Whidby

James Donald “Jim” Whidby pasased away on May 16, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Whidby; mother, Mary Elizabeth Whidby and sister, Nell Whidby Mooney.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara “Bobbie” Maness Whidby; children, Allison Whidby Harper and Emily Whidby (Anthony) Gray; grandchildren, Hunter Harper, Owen Gray, Liam Gray, Logan Gray and Mason Gray.

Jim was a devoted husband of 49 years, loving father, adoring grandfather and friend to many.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Cambridge Christian Church; 4050 County Road 960, Orrville, Alabama 36767. Memorial services will follow at 2:30 p.m. with Dr. Ed Eaton officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Private burial will follow.
