Janice Plummer Schmitt, died June 26, 2008. She is survived by her husband John G. Schmitt Jr., and four children, John G. Schmitt III, James G. Schmitt, Janice Schmitt, and Joseph G. Schmitt. Burial was held at 9:00 AM, Saturday June 28, 2008 at New Live Oak cemetery.
