Jarman "Trot" Russell Vaughan

Jarman Russell (Trot) Vaughan, a lifelong resident of Selma, Alabama, died May 2, 2023 at the age of 79.

Before retiring, Trot worked as a professional engineer across several Alabama counties. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry A. Vaughan and mother, Christine R. Vaughan, both of Selma, and by his sister Amy B. Casey, of Birmingham.

He is survived by his sister Mary V. (Dinny) Vaughan-Mayer of Hamburg, Germany; brother Henry A. Vaughan III, of Atlanta, Georgia; and son Christopher R. Vaughan of Los Angeles, California.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Selma Animal Shelter.
