Jimmy Lloyd Burton passed away January 18, 2018 at the age of 73. He was born July 17, 1944 to the late T.A. and Abbie Burton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Burton; sisters, Evie Hudson and Estelle Gates; brothers, Woodrow Burton, Ray Burton and Rayford Burton; great-grandson, Jonathan Hendrix Burton and nephews, Tommy Walker, Alvis Burton and Roger Burton.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Burton; son, Brad (Cathe) Burton, grandson, Wesley (Jessica) Burton; granddaughter, Cayley Burton; great-grandsons, Blazer Burton and Konnor Burton and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Smalley officiating. Interment will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Billy Burton, Rayford Burton, Jr., David Johnson, Scott Silvey, Kirk Sims, Jason Motes and Tim Burton.
