John Parker

John "Bud" Parker passed away February 1, 2024 at the age of 82. He was born April 30, 1941 to the late John M. Parker, Sr. and Lena Doris Parker. 

He was preceded in death by his sister, Cleta Parker Reinhart.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jan Parker; son, Justin (Alice) Parker; daughter, Michelle (Randy) Harper; grandchildren, Mary Grace Parker, Lena Anne Parker, Marc Meador and Christian  Meador; sister, Diane (Charles) Teel.

Graveside services will be Monday, February 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Valley Methodist Cemetery with Rev. Steve Kopp and Rev. Steve Whitehead officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home of Selma directing.

Pallbearers will be Mark Broadhead, Pete Broadhead, Hunter Fischer, Danny Blue, Mark Smedley and Mike Smedley. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Fischer, Phillip Chandler, Jimmy Smedley, John Smedley and Jim Threadgill.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Pleasant Valley Methodist Church;
