June 6, 1937 — March 14, 2017
June Elizabeth Young, age 79, of Selma, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend passed away on March 14, 2017 while at home with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Robert Weaver and Reather Smith; husband: James Troy Young; daughters: Janet Young, Melissa Young; and brothers: Robert Weaver and Ray Weaver.
Mrs. Young is survived by her children: Stephen Young (Anna), Linda Rosamond (Joe); grandchildren: Toni Rollan (Greg), Kelly Young, James Keith McCloud, Timothy Endfinger, Melissa Wilson (Eddie), Stephanie Ems (David); great grandchildren: Melisa Rollan, Lauren Rollan, Gracie Endfinger, Alana Guyon, Kyleigh Wilson, Claira Lou Ems and James Ethan Wilson. She is also survived by her siblings: Janice Goodwin (Billy), Gaye Newton (Buddy), Lynn Smith, Rachel Nichols, and Theresa Penton (Donnie), and a life-long friend Bennie Stringer.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Rod Rochester officiating. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Timothy Endfinger, David Ems, James “Bob” Ricketts, Cory Armstrong, Eddie Wilson, and Terry Goodwin. Honorary pallbearer is: Michael Newton.
