Kristy Lynn Dillard, affectionately known as Dilly, was born on July 15, 1966, and departed this world on August 15, 2025. Her journey through life was one filled with passion, laughter, and unwavering dedication to shaping the futures of countless young individuals.

As a cherished cheer coach and teacher, Kristy spent many years inspiring students at Dallas County High School before moving on to Athens High School to continue her important work. Her commitment to education was profound; she tirelessly worked toward higher learning while ensuring that her students received not just knowledge, but guidance, mentorship, and heartfelt encouragement. Kristy had a special gift for connecting with young people, touching their lives in ways that will linger well beyond their school days. Her enthusiasm for teaching and coaching made an indelible mark on the hearts of her students, who fondly remember her as a figure of support and joy in their lives.

A fervent supporter of Auburn, she took pride in her team, and her enthusiasm was palpable during games. She enjoyed shopping and often indulged in her favorite shows, Live PD and On Patrol Live, where she delighted in the excitement and stories that unfolded on screen. Yet nothing complemented her vibrant spirit like the beach, where she found peace among the waves and sand.
