Lois Burton

Lois Stevens Burton passed away August 1, 2021 in Mobile, Alabama at the age of 87. She was born in Selma, Alabama on July 24, 1934 to the late Frank Weston Stevens, Jr. and Mary Lois Walker Stevens.

After graduating from Albert G. Parrish High School, she attended the University of Alabama, before going on to become a stewardess for Delta Airlines. In 1959 she married Dawson Lawrence Burton, who preceded her in death on November 30, 2016.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Charles) Payne.

Visitation will be Friday, August 6, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. Graveside services will immediately follow at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Steve Burton officiating.
