Margie Walker

Margie Mae Martin Walker passed away July 28, 2019 at the age of 93. She was born July 3, 1926 to the late Walter Dewey Martin and Edna Russell Martin.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Artie Plummer officiating. Interment will follow in Bassett Creek Cemetery in Fulton, Alabama. Visitation will begin at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Meeks Walker, Sr.; son, Hubert Meeks Walker, Jr. and siblings, Walter (Jay) Martin, Fred Martin, Lavon (Peggy) Martin and Catherine (Arthur) Plummer.

She is survived by her children, Marvin Allen (Debra) Walker and Brenda (Garry) Miller; grandchildren, Scott Walker, Shawn Walker, Tammy Walker, Rachel Walker, Marvin Walker, Jr., Kari Bailey, Stacy Oates and Megan St. Pierre; twelve great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Diane Walker.
