Martha Hearon Spencer

Martha Hearon Spencer passed away March 11, 2023 at the age of 86. She was born January 19, 1937 to the late Allen and Lydia Hearon. 
 
She was a member of Elkdale Baptist Church, where she volunteered in the office. She also volunteered with Meals on Wheels.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Jack Gordon Spencer.
 
She is survived by her son, Dennis (Carolyn) Spencer; daughter, Debbie (Llew) Rollins; grandchildren, Britt Blaylock, Wes (Brittany) Spencer, Reid (Brittany) Spencer, Sara Spencer and Emily Spencer; great-grandchildren, Austin and Bailey.
 
The family would like to thank special neighbors, Robert and Cassandra Smith and Bernie and Kay Redd.
 
She will be laid to rest, along with her husband on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort with Dr. Jerry Henry officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home of Selma directing.
