Mary Elizabeth Thomas Rhyne, age 85, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Benton United Methodist Church with Rev. Clayton Speed, Rev. Lee Tate, Rev. Lincoln Speece, and Rev. Ray Wells officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Benton Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is preceded by her husband: Carroll Hoffman Rhyne Sr.; parents: Edward and Austine Thomas; and brothers: Mack Thomas and Austin Thomas.
Mrs. Rhyne is survived by her son: Carroll Hoffman Rhyne Jr. (Beckie), David Nelson Rhyne (Diane), Daniel Thomas Rhyne (Patricia); daughter: Mary Elizabeth Rhyne Speed (Clayton); grandchildren: Ashley Rhyne Williams, Carol Hoffman Rhyne III, Kennedy Rhyne Walker, Robert Rhett Rhyne, David Nelson Rhyne Jr., Mary Katheryn Rhyne Kendig, Megan Rachel Farrar Rhyne, Laura Rhyne Tabor, Daniel Thomas Rhyne Jr., Emily Rhyne Summerlin, Clayton King Speed Jr., Isabella Rhyne Speed, Joshua Graham Speed, Judith Gabrielle Speed, and 16 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons: Carroll Hoffman Rhyne III, Daniel Thomas Rhyne Jr., David Nelson Rhyne Jr., Robert Rhett Rhyne, Clayton King Speed Jr., and Joshua Graham Speed.
