Sara Melton

Sara Wright Melton, age 89, of Selma, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Blake officiating. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

She is preceded by her parents: Marvin Sr. and Dixie Wright; 1 brother; and 3 sisters.

Mrs. Melton is survived by her husband of 65 years: Clifford D. Melton; son: Randall Scott Melton (Renee); grandson: Brandon Scott Melton; and brother: Gary Wright.

Pallbearers will be: Brandon Melton, Craig Bennett, Ronnie Bennett, David Dennis, Norman Copeland, and Larry Argo.
