Susan Haugen

Susan Phillips Haugen, age 71, of Selma, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2018 from complications of diabetes.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Ronald “Frog” Haugen; and parents: E.P. and Edna Phillips.

Susan is survived by her daughter: Robin Haugen Tate (Josh); son: Scott H. Haugen; grandson: Taylor Haugen; twin sister: Sandy Hight (Fred); and numerous relatives, nieces,

nephews, and friends.

Susan was a graduate from A.G Parrish High School. She married her high school

sweetheart “Frog” in 1965 and at the time of his death they had been married for 36 years.

She was a member of ESA Sorority for many years helping raise money for St. Jude Children’s

Hospital. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society, she enjoyed playing Bunko with her

friends and loved to travel, especially cruising.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 5:30 pm at Lawrence

Brown Funeral Home with Jamie Day officiating. Visitation will follow after the memorial.
