Thelma Freeman

Thelma Jane Freeman went home to be with her Lord Sunday,  April 5, 2020 at the age of 85.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewitt Freeman; daughter, Gina Freeman Friede; parents, James and Thelma Smith; stepmother, Chloe Smith; sister, Dale Edmonson and brother, Jerry Smith.

She is survived by her daughters, Shelia Freeman, Shirley Roberts and Maria (Kevin) Freeman; grandchildren, Junior Friede, Barbara Friede, Debbie (Jared) Dunn, Nathan Freeman, Sara Freeman, Danielle (Steven) Russo, Heavenly Freeman, Becky (Lane Wallace) McCormick, Bradley Freeman and Shirley Friede; nineteen great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce (John) Turnbow; numerous nieces and nephews and her special fur-children, Romeo and Lil’Bit-Dustpan.

Due to restrictions on gatherings at this time, you may watch the live funeral service on Friday, April 10, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. online at www.facebook.com/LawrenceFH. She will be laid to rest at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Matthew Klimis officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
