Theresa Nell Averette

Theresa Nell Averette passed away on February 1, 2026 at the age of 66. She was born on May 18, 1959, to Margarette Averette and the late Irby Averette.

She is survived by her beloved mother, and her siblings: Christine Chappelle (Michael), Sherry Bennett (Rue), Jeannie Averette, Micheal Averette (Angelia), Russell Champion, Vic Quigley and Loretta Averette. Theresa also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Theresa was preceded in death by her father, and her siblings: Doris Champion, Marlene Quigley, and Robert Averette. The love she shared with her family will always be remembered, and her spirit will continue to shine through the lives she touched.

The family will have a private memorial service honoring Ms. Averette's life at a later date
