Verna Ricketts
February 2, 1927 — April 22, 2019
Verna Ricketts passed away on April 22, 2019 at the age of 92.
Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2019 at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Johnathan Jenkins officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
She is preceded by her husband: James Lee Ricketts; brothers: W.T, Roberson and James Roberson Jr.; son in law: Kenneth Richard Stephens Sr.; grandson: Kenneth Richard Stephens Jr. and grandson: James Curtis Ricketts.
Mrs. Ricketts is survived by her son: James Ricketts of Valley Grande; daughters: Valeta (Mike) Edwards of Greenville, Rita (Jim) Stewart of Prattville, Nell (Donald) McCloud of Burnsville/Jones, Anita (Pat) Lagmay of Kapolei, HI; grandchildren: Michael (Delanie) Edwards, Amanda (Eric) Holder, Lea Anna (Ricky) Brewer, Jana Payne, Eli McCloud, Donald (Jessica) McCloud, Jessica Lagmay, Rachel Lagmay; 18 great -grandchildren and 2 great - great- grandchildren.
Pallbearers are: Ricky Brewer, Ricky Lee Brewer, Pat Lagmay, Donald McCloud, Eli McCloud, and Michael Edwards.
