Vernon Lenoir

Vernon Ricky Lenoir passed away February 24, 2018 at the age of 63. He was born November 30, 1954 to Vernon Grady Lenoir and Mary Louise G. Lenoir.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Lenoir; brother, Tommy Lenoir; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Grady Lenoir and Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Glaze.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, gardening and watching wrestling and Alabama football.

A loving husband, father, grandfather and son, he is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Mary Ann Lenoir; sons, Tommy Ray Lenoir, Jr., Christopher Shawn (Kathryn) Lenoir and Brooks Buxton Lenoir; grandchildren, Tyler Lenoir, Chelsie Lenoir, Landon Lenoir, Isabella Lenoir, Brayden Lenoir, Elaina Lenoir, Brookslynn Lenoir and Christopher Lenoir, Jr.; mother, Louise Glaze Lenoir; brothers, Grady Mickey (Becky) Lenoir and David Allen Lenoir; sisters, Sandra (Bill) Lovelady, Lynn (Barry) Stephens; half-siblings, Gregory (Mary) Lenoir, Connie (Michael) Longcrier and George Lenoir and best friends, Gary King and Jerry Bowden.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be before the service, beginning at 12:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Lenoir, Jr., Shawn Lenoir, Brooks Lenoir, Gary L. King, Jerry Bowden and Chris Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Lovelady, Barry Stephens, Michael Jarvis, Joshua Buxton and Dakota Jarvis.
