Walter Buford Goodman, age 83, of Selma, passed away Monday, December 4, 2017
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. James Bozeman officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Memory Gardens with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Wilburn and Susie Goodman; daughter, Angel Leigh Goodman; grandson, Jonathon Walter Goodman; son-in-law, James Larry Cottrell; brother, Harvey Lee Goodman; and sisters, Irene Campbell and Sarah Julian.
Mr. Goodman is survived by his wife: Mavis Goodman; daughters, Mary (James) Cottrell, Patricia (Rickey) Burgey, Cathy (Gregorio) Fuentes; sons, Walter Joseph Goodman and Paul Daniel Goodman; 8 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Michael Bowling, Christopher Goodman, Gregorio Fuentes, Patrick Washburn, Wilburn Goodman, and Calvin Edwards.
