Webster “Web” Jewell Manderson, III passed away on May 15, 2026, at the age of 63. He was born June 6, 1962, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to the late Webster Jewell Manderson, Jr. and Pauline Walton Ford Manderson. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lewis Eastman Ford Manderson.
Web is survived by his wife of 38 years, Laurie Driggers Manderson, and his children Laurie Elizabeth Manderson and Webster Ford Manderson. He also leaves behind his sister, Walton Manderson (Kenneth) Vandervoort; Mary Beth Driggers Bradley, and nieces and nephews, Walton Newman Vandervoort, Lucian Newman IV, Avery Driggers Leonard, and Caroline Driggers Nabors.
A proud graduate of the University of Alabama, Web was a member of Kappa Alpha Order and a lifelong supporter of the Crimson Tide through Tide Pride. Web started his own business, Royal Vending, which he led with dedication until his recent retirement. He was also committed to serving his community. Web was a Deacon at First Baptist Church of Selma, served multiple terms as President of the Selma Country Club Board, was on the Morgan Academy School Board, and was an active member of the Knights of Revelry and the Town and Country Board.
Nothing made Web happier than spending time with Laurie, Elizabeth, Ford and his many dear friends. Whether it was on his boat in Orange Beach, on the golf course, or at the club playing bourré. Web was everybody’s favorite person—cherished by his friends, respected by his community, and adored by his family.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Selma with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home of Selma directing. The family will hold a private graveside service at New Live Oak Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Selma Music Ministry.
