Wiley Albert Ingram passed away January 19, 2026 at the age of 84. He was born January 26, 1941 in Autaugaville, Alabama to the late L. T. Ingram and Allie Frances Langston Ingram.
After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he became a Staff Sergeant serving in the 356 th Tactical Fighter Squadron based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina as a crew chief for the F-100 Super Sabre fighter. During his time in the Air Force he was deployed to numerous air bases around the globe including bases in Italy, Turkey, and Japan. After leaving the Air Force, he married Shirley Cobb in 1968, and worked several jobs in Selma during his career including Walter Craig and Pepsi Cola Bottling Company.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Cobb Ingram; sons, Larry (Kristie) Ingram and Stan (Callie) Ingram; grandchildren, William Ingram and Katherine Ingram and a host of cousins.
Graveside services will be Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Pastor Ryan Skiebe. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 21, 2026 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home in Selma.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will accept flowers or you may consider memorial donations to Folds of Honor.
