William Casey, Sr.

William Lamar Casey, Sr. passed away July 14, 2021 at the age of 94. He was born March 30, 1927 to the late Ernest Lamar Casey and Mamie Lois Casey. He lived in Carlowville, Alabama; served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and was a life-long farmer.

He was preceded in death by his son, David B. Casey and grandson, John S. Casey.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia B. Casey; sons, William L. (Laura) Casey, Jr. and Charles S. (Leigh) Casey; daughter-in-law, Becky C. Rives; grandchildren, William L. Casey, III, Whitney (Braden) Cook, Matthew D. (Meredith) Casey, Margaret C. (Cody) Eason and Jackson L. Casey; great-grandchildren, Cecilia Cook, David Cook and Shannon Eason and brother, Jerry H. (Peggy) Casey.

Graveside services will be Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Carlowville Community Cemetery with Dr. Jerry Light officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Carlowville Cemetery Fund; 4388 Alabama Highway 89; Minter, Alabama 36761.
