William Norton
April 28, 1943 — April 17, 2017
William Kenneth Norton, age 73, of Selma, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017.
He is preceded by his parents: Buck Ernest Norton and Jonnie Butler Norton; brother: Buck Ernest Norton Jr.; and sisters: Alice Norton Porter and Mary Frances Norton.
Mr. Norton is survived by his wife of 46 years: Louise McHugh Norton; sons: Kenneth James Hamrick, Kevin Robert Hamrick, Donald Hiram Norton (Rae), William Christopher Norton (April); 9 grandchildren; brothers and sisters: John Clyde “Dick” Norton (Patricia) of Marion Jct, Barbara Norton Grange (Terry) of Ft. Pierce, FL; Ann Norton Edwards (John Ray) of Montgomery, Thomas Butler Norton (Ellen) of High Point, NC, Johnny Wayne Norton of Anniston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Our Lady Queen of Peace with Father Richard Myhalyk officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral directing.
Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Wayne Little, Jeff McKinney, Erwin McKinney, Gene McHugh, Bubba McHugh, Keith Bridges; and honorary pallbearers: Tom Curry, Randall Miller, John Solomon, and Corey Bowie.
