Elizabeth Blanton

Elizabeth Glancy Blanton, age 96, of Selma, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019.

Church Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church with Rev. Henry Hudson officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the Parrish Hall of St Paul’s.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Dr. George Claiborne Blanton Jr.; parents: Edward and Elizabeth Glancy; sister: Jeanie Vlack; and brother: John Glancy.

Mrs. Blanton is survived by her sons: George Claiborne Blanton III (Rachel), Donald Walter Blanton (Judy), daughters: Barbara Blanton Suess (Terry), and Nancy Blanton Davis (Alan).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 210 Lauderdale St., Selma, AL. 36701.
