Estella Clark

March 31, 1938 — April 5, 2022

Estella Jean Gatlin Clark was born on March 31, 1938, in Sanford, Florida.  She ran through the gates of heaven on April 5, 2022, straight into the arms of Jesus and her beloved husband, Albert.

Jean was a woman of God who traveled the world many times over ministering to those in need and sharing Christ’s love for us.  She was a proud rancher’s wife, mother, Sunday School teacher, and counselor; but her most favorite title was Grandmother.  Her three GRANDchildren (and she would say they were extra GRAND) were the lights of her life each one filling a special place in her heart.  Her daughters didn’t just take a back seat to them…we weren’t even allowed to ride in the same car.  She kept her family going through many hard times with prayer, grace, determination, and most of all love.  We will miss her greatly for the rest of our lives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; her parents, Ben and Lois Gatlin; brother, A.B. “Buck” Gatlin and sisters, Gloria Jordan and Betty Brode.

She is survived by daughters, Pamela Jean (Nathan) Jordan of Sanford, Eva Lynn Clark of Bushnell, and Laura Anne (James) Evans of Osteen and most importantly to her, her GRANDchildren, James Albert Coffell and Clint Randall Hall of Bushnell and Tristan Rein Clark Evans of Osteen; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank two people who were very special to mom, Dwight Cutter and Pam Brooks LeFils.  The two of you showed such love for Mom throughout her life and especially during these last difficult months.  We appreciate and love you both immensely for all that you did for her and our family. Oh, Dwight, she loved you and her special youngin’ Pam so very much.

A Celebration of Mom’s life will be held at the Westview Baptist Church at 4100 HE Thomas Jr Parkway in Sanford, Florida on Saturday April 9, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with lunch immediately following.  She will be laid to rest in the Rives Cemetery in Collirene, Alabama on Monday, April 11, 2022 with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
