Gayle Cook

Gayle Turner Cook, born and raised in Orrville, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Johnny and Lucille Turner and her husband: George Martin Cook, Jr.

Mrs. Cook is survived by her son: Timothy Barrett; granddaughter: April Sanders (Wally); and great grandsons: Chayton, Shilah, Cree Sanders; and her sister: Dayle Turner Sealy (Ralph).

Gayle attended Orrville High School, graduating in the class of 1961. She worked as a secretary at the Selma Medical Center and was a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of Orrville Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

The family would like to thank her devoted caregivers, Carol Froberg and Mary Minniefield for their excellent care during the past year.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Pineview Memory Gardens with Rev. Mike Liles officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
