Huey Headley

Huey James Headley passed away April 26, 2021 at the age of 83. He was born May 10, 1937 to the late Simmon Clifford Headley and Clemie E. Walker Headley.

He was the last of ten siblings; Gordon Headley, Earnest Headley, Walter Headley, Dewey Headley, Edward Headley, Emmett Headley, Marie Victor, Minnie Manderson, and Betty Ruth Hayes.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Fay Headley; daughter, Beverly Kay (Bruce) Harris; grandchildren, Jonathan Harris (Kristin) and Ashley Harris and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Pastor Tim Mathis officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Shriner’s Hospital; 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607 or St. Jude’s; 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
