Jesse Andrews Rives passed away on October 7, 2020 at the age of 64. He was born July 30, 1956.

Andy was a deacon at First Baptist Church and a member of the Maverick Sunday School Class. He was an avid golfer and he worked at Southtrust Bank and was a bank manager at RBC Bank and a manager at John Deere Tractor.

He was preceded by his father: Claudius Green “Busty” Rives, mother: Clariece “Cindy” Norris Rives, niece: Christina Allison Rives, and loving aunt and uncle: Ina N. Weedon and Robert Weedon.

Mr. Rives is survived by his wife of 13 years: Becky Casey Rives; children: Mary Susan Crovato (John Brian Hale), Drew Rives (Brady), Matthew Casey (Meredith Hall), Whitney Cook (Braden); grandchildren: Brody Crovato, Rives Crovato, Coleman Rives, Walton Rives, Cecilia Cook, David Cook,  John Braxton Hale; siblings: Green Rives (Nancy), Earnest L. Rives, Theresa Rives Wood (Wetzel); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 9, 2020 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Light officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. There will be a private family burial following the service at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Terry Leach, Blann Bell, Tommy Morris, Don Willingham, and Micky Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be the Maverick Sunday School Class and his Country Club Golfing Buddies.
