John Holland Hogg Ii

November 13, 1963 — February 8, 2020

John Holland Hogg, II, a resident of Summerdale, Alabama, passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 56. He was born on November 13, 1963 in Selma, Alabama to the late Donald Ray Hogg, Sr and Margaret Hogg. He grew up in Uniontown, Alabama and attended Southern Academy in Greensboro, Alabama.

Holland was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Ray Hogg, Sr and Margaret Hogg; brother-in-law, Dan Robertson; nephew, Cory Brault; and niece, Jessica Hogg.

He is survived by his best friend and brother, Thomas (Sharon) Hogg of Fairhope; brother, Ray Hogg of Selma; sisters, Greta Hogg of Birmingham, Paula Robertson of Uniontown, Alexia (Mike) Garner of Selma, and Donna (Bill) Jones of Sachse, TX;  nephews Donnie Hogg of Selma and Tyler (Kylie) Hogg of Dallastown, PA; and nieces Hope (Doug) Fulwood of Royce City, TX, Lindsay (David) Darnell of Troy, Missy Ray, Meredith (Ryan) Stone, and Meg Hogg all of Selma, and Brook Robertson of Birmingham.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 16, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Lawrence-Brown Service Funeral Home, 2900 Citizens Parkway, Selma, Alabama followed by graveside services at 3:00 PM at New Live Oak Cemetery with Reverend Tyler Hogg officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hope Center, a ministry of 3Circle Church, 10274-A State Hwy 104, Fairhope, AL 36532.
