Mary Cain

Mary Nan Reeves Cain passed away peacefully at her home on November 6, 2019 at the age of 86.

She was born in Vernon, Alabama on Christmas Eve, 1932 to the late Henry Clay Reeves and Lyda Taylor Reeves. She attended school in Lamar County, Alabama before seeking higher education in Montevallo, Alabama. After meeting her beloved husband, Jack Reid Cain, they moved to Houston, Texas, where she developed an outstanding real estate career and reared two beautiful children.

Her husband, Jack Reid Cain; brother, Gene (Roberta) Reeves and sisters, Theresa (Almus) Chandler and Linda Reeves all have preceded in her in death.

She is survived by her son, Reid Stephen (Pamela) Cain and their children, Courtney Cain (Cody) Seige, Kristen Cain and Natalie Cain; daughter, Mary Karen Cain (Mark) Egger, her son, MSgt. Charles Gregory (MSgt. Danielle, USAF) Frazier, USAF, and their children, Kiera and Nolan and her daughter, Michelle Rene Miller Grey and sister, Noble (Ret. Lt. Col. James) Wright.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. Interment will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.
