William Swindal

William Clyde Swindal, 86, died Monday March 14, 2005, at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at the Chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Johnson officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in Jones Baptist Cemetery. Family visitation will be Tuesday March 15, 2005 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Mattie Maude Swindal of Jones; sons, Wayne (Faye) Swindal of Sprott and Johnny Swindal of Marion; sister-in-law, Evelyn (Raymond) DeRamus of Montgomery; grandsons, Scott Swindal and Shane Swindal; great-grandchildren, McKalya Swindal and Johnny Swindal.

Active pallbearers will be Gerald Jordan, Grady Blevin, Elliot Lester, Bob Ed Reed, Danny Blue and Tommy Kelly.
